HL7460 (Korean Air Lines) ferried to Oscoda parts out for Kallita Air

December 19, 2018

HL7460 (Korean Air Lines) ferried to Oscoda Airport via Anchorage on December 19, 2018.
This aircraft was withdrawn from use from September 3 after it flew for KE628 CGK to ICN.
HL7460 stored at Seoul Incheon Airport about 3 month and Kallita Air bought this aircraft for parts out.

This time HL7460 flew to Oscoda Airport where Kallita’s base airport.
The call sign was KE029D and this flight was via Anchorage only less than 1 hour.

I think this aircraft will never fly again and some of parts are using for active 747-400 on Kallita Air.
After HL7460 retirement, Korean Air Lines has only two of passenger 747-400 at the moment.
