747-438ER VH-OEH (Qantas) ferried from SYD to MHV via LAX on May 20 to 21 (PDT)
The aircraft (VH-OEH) previous retirement plan was on August 2020. but dur to COVID-19 situation, They decided to retirement three months earlier.
This time, the third time of retirement for 747-400ER.
Qantas was already announcement for all of 747 series retirement until end of 2020.
Some of media was published “They are retirement all of 747s immediately” but Qantas was denied this rumor for officially.
After VH-OEG was retirement, They have 3 of 747-400ER and all of 747-400ERs are stored at SYD at the moment.
