747-438ER VH-OEG (Qantas) ferried from LAX to MHV on April 10 (PDT)
The aircraft was ferried from SYD to LAX on April 5 by QF6001.
The aircraft previous retirement plan was on May 2020. but dur to COVID-19 situation, They decided to retirement one month earlier.
This time, the second time of retirement for 747-400ER.
Qantas was already announcement for all of 747 series retirement until end of 2020.
Some of media was published “They are retirement all of 747s immediately” but Qantas was denied this rumor for officially.
