VH-OJS (Qantas) retirement from their fleet on February 17, 2019.
The last flight was QF73 Sydney to San Francisco.
VH-OJS delivered on September 30, 1999 and it flew at Qantas about 20 years.
And the aircraft mounted for RR engines. On start of 2019, They only have 2 of 747-400 with RR engines.
After VH-OJS retirement, Qantas has only 1 aircraft with RR engines on 747-400 (VH-OJU).
But VH-OJU will also retirement schedule on August 2019.
Qantas plans for all of 747-400 retirement until end of 2020.
They have 2 of 747-400 and 6 of 747-400ER at the moment.
